Privacy policy

Jeff Learning Centre Pte Ltd ("we", "us") is committed to protecting the personal data of the families we work with. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

When you make an enquiry or enrol, we collect:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• The year level of the child you are enquiring about — for example P5 or S2
• Anything else you choose to tell us in the message field

We do not collect or keep personal data about your child. We do not ask for their name, their school, or their results, and we hold none of those at any stage — including after enrolment. A year level is all we need to place a child in the right class.

We do not collect NRIC numbers, and we ask that you do not send them to us. Please also avoid putting your child's name or school in the message field, since we have no need for either.

Why we collect it

• To answer your enquiry and advise on suitable classes
• To administer enrolment, scheduling and fees
• To contact you about your child's progress and attendance
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell personal data, and we do not add enquirers to a marketing list without asking first.

Who we share it with

Your contact details are shared only with the teachers who need them and with service providers who help us operate — for example our video conferencing and website hosting providers. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use the data for their own purposes.

We never sell personal data, and we do not share it with other tuition providers or advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for up to twelve months if you do not enrol. Once enrolled, we keep your contact and billing details for as long as your child studies with us, and afterwards only for as long as we are required to for legal and accounting purposes.

How we protect it

Access to personal data is limited to staff who need it. Our website is served over an encrypted connection, and enquiry submissions are transmitted securely.

Your rights

Under the PDPA you may ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data we hold about you
• Correct anything that is inaccurate
• Withdraw your consent to our use of the data

Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide classes, and we will tell you if that is the case.
